Drill it and put a small bolt in to hold in case of overheating or getting snagged on something.

That was cool. I noticed that you didn't need flux. I was told that " if you don't use flux it will co.e apart." Not saying younare wrong just saying what I was taught. I will assume that the wire strand in the liquid lead acts as it's own binder through entanglement. I am just curious.

Good Vid! Need however to run the Plasma cutter on a 30Amp/120V breaker - (not a 15/20A, if your Gen has that capability) or use adapter plug to get the 220 to make it work properly but anything over 15A should break the Gen CB as it does. As you discussed, no, you absolutely do NOT need the small Oxy setups, just turn your Plasma cutter down or use the adapter to a 220V and it'll be perfect for those jobs. **The Golf Cart rig is an EXCELLENT idea!

Crimping is the best way to fasten. High amperage can melt the solder, or fishing weights that melt at even a lower temp, causing failure of the circuit.

Not in marine usage. heavy amp draw will melt the lead and the cable will drop out of the lug causing a potential short and a fire. Crimp the lugs. Use the proper size lug. Not one that’s too big like this. Use the correct dies with the crimping tool. It won’t fail. Unlike this.

It’s so refreshing g to hear a welder who doesn’t blow his lid when he’s given a subpar fit. Knowing how to address it and continue on with the weld is only the right thing to do. If only more welders would learn these type of the trade.
